The first-stage transmission of this type of gear reducer is a Gleason spiral bevel gear, and other tooth shapes can also be used. The first and third-stage transmissions are involute cylindrical helical gears


The gears and bearings of this type of reducer are generally splash lubricated and naturally cooled. This type of reducer has the advantages of high bearing capacity, low noise, small size, light weight, high efficiency and long service life, and is widely used in metallurgy, coal, transportation, building materials and other mechanical equipment.


3. Cylindrical gear reducer


Cylindrical gear reducers are mainly divided into involute cylindrical gear reducers and arc cylindrical gear reducers. Among them, involute cylindrical gears are widely used, and can be divided into straight teeth, helical teeth and herringbone teeth.


Second, the use and maintenance of gear reducer


1. Before starting the gear reducer, check whether the oil level in the reducer meets the requirements. Open or replace the ventilation cap according to the prompts to make it ventilated smoothly, and check whether the rotation is flexible.


2. Before the load test, it should be run with no load for about half an hour. After confirming that the no-load is fault-free, it can be loaded and run. The test machine should always check the operation: there should be no abnormal shock, vibration, no seepage or oil leakage. The temperature rise shall not exceed 60 ℃, and the high oil temperature shall not exceed 100 ℃ (inspection should also be carried out during daily work).
